Saturday, Oct.15, is the Annual Scarecrows and Cocoa at the Leffingwell House Museum. Start with a Scavenger hunt in the Business sponsored Scarecrow Garden, the scarecrows are distanced in and around the garden. Visit with Living History presenters, make a corn husk doll with Jane, learn about Colonial life with the Lebanon Militia. Visit Sutler Big Bear Trading Company and the troops from the R.I. Kingston Reds. Try the flavor of Colonial Chocolate, an authentic recipe from the 1800’s created by Robert Lecce of Pewter Pot Fine Spiced Chocolate who will have his chocolate available! Taste several Hot Chocolate recipes to select the Leffingwell recipe for 2022. Outside activities are free but donations to help us heat the museum this winter are gratefully welcomed!
The Museum is open for tours11am-3pm, $8, last tour starts 2pm
