Rep. Joe Courtney, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Connecticut's 2nd district since 2007, recently shared his thoughts and upcoming engagements on social media. I'll be discussing President Trump's & Elon Musk's dangerous overreach, the local consequences of the funding freeze, and Trump's day-one firing of Coast Guard Commandant Fagan."

Later that day, he highlighted concerns from his constituents regarding recent political developments: "I’ve heard from thousands in eastern CT who are rightly worried about President Trump's & Elon Musk's dangerous overreach. On Wed, Feb 12 at 7:15pm, join me & @AGWilliamTong for a telephone town hall where we are eager to hear your concerns & discuss the work ahead." He encouraged participation in an upcoming telephone town hall with Attorney General William Tong.

On February 11, Rep. Courtney reiterated details about the telephone town hall scheduled for February 12: "Tomorrow, I’m hosting a live telephone town hall with Connecticut’s Attorney General William Tong. The event begins at 7:15PM." He provided information on how to join the event either online or by phone.
