On March 22, 2025, Rep. Joe Courtney expressed concerns about potential cuts to healthcare services at a town hall meeting in Windham. He stated: "Big crowd in Windham for my town hall on Medicaid. I am fighting tooth and nail to stop President Trump, Elon Musk, and DOGE from slashing health care services to give the top 1% a tax break."
The following day, March 23, 2025, he welcomed CarbonBuilt to the Quiet Corner of Connecticut.
