Rep. Joe Courtney, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Connecticut's 2nd district since 2007, shared his thoughts and activities on Twitter regarding healthcare, industrial developments, and sports. Courtney, a Hartford native and a Tufts University alumnus, actively engages with his constituents through various initiatives.

On March 22, 2025, Rep. Joe Courtney expressed concerns about potential cuts to healthcare services at a town hall meeting in Windham. He stated: "Big crowd in Windham for my town hall on Medicaid. I am fighting tooth and nail to stop President Trump, Elon Musk, and DOGE from slashing health care services to give the top 1% a tax break."

The following day, March 23, 2025, he welcomed CarbonBuilt to the Quiet Corner of Connecticut. Highlighting the company’s innovative approach to construction materials, he tweeted: "Welcome to the Quiet Corner, CarbonBuilt! The concrete manufacturer produces affordable ultra-low carbon cinder blocks at their facility in Danielson. I visited last week for a tour of the long time factory that is being revamped and repurposed."

Later on March 23rd, Courtney commended the Husky men's team for their perseverance throughout their season: "So proud of the Husky men’s team that fought through obstacles and negativity all season long and came so close to a bracket busting upset. Their season will be long remembered and honored by the Husky faithful!"
