Otis Library will host the musical program "Love is Little: Shaker Chants, Hymns, and Ballads" live over Zoom. The celibate, communal United Society of Believers in Christ's Second Appearing, of whom only three now survive, are famed not only for their furniture and other crafts, but the boisterous singing and dancing in their religious services. Join former Hancock Shaker Village Museum interpreter April Grant and Boston Area Shaker Study Group member E. J. Barnes for a selection of Shaker songs, followed by Q&A.
