On January 25, 2025, Rep. Courtney emphasized the connection between his committee work in Washington D.C. and its impact on eastern Connecticut. He stated: "From supporting our shipbuilding industry to growing our skilled manufacturing workforce, the work of the Armed Services Committee and the Education & Workforce Committee directly connects to my work back home in eastern Connecticut."

Two days later, on January 27, 2025, he acknowledged efforts made by Rosa DeLauro and local farmers that resulted in securing disaster assistance for Connecticut farms. Celebrating this achievement in Northford with farmers from across the state, he tweeted: "Thanks to @RosaDeLauro’s tenacity and grassroots efforts by local farmers, we secured critical disaster assistance for CT farms in the December funding bill. Today, we celebrated the victory in Northford with farmers from across our state."

On January 28, 2025, Rep. Courtney expressed his appreciation for student achievements at a robotics event held over the weekend. He commented on their impressive projects: "Really great to join the Tolland County Robotics Rumble over the weekend. These students have put together seriously impressive projects, showcasing their skills in science and technology."
