Firm’s original co-founder, Dave Gellar, returns 20 years later
Quinn & Hary, a marketing and communications firm based in New London, has made two new hires that will grow the firm exponentially. The new additions are Dave Gellar, Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Graphic Designer Troy Hall.
The hiring of Gellar brings his career full circle, as he was one of the founding members of the firm when it began as Quinn & Gellar 20 years ago this month.
“We are thrilled with the addition of Dave Gellar and Troy Hall to our outstanding team,” Dave Quinn, the agency President said. “With my old friend and colleague, plus new creative bandwidth, we will be able to help even more clients to address their marketing and communications challenges.”
Quinn & Hary has expertise in many sectors, including tourism and travel, offshore wind, municipalities, and economic development. Quinn & Hary is a subsidiary of Regan Communications Group based in Boston.
George K. Regan, Jr., Founder, Chairman and CEO of Regan Communications Group, said he is proud of Quinn and the entire team of Quinn & Hary. “Their work on behalf of a variety of different sectors in Connecticut has been first-rate. The new hires to our team in Connecticut will only add to the phenomenal reputation of Quinn & Hary.”
Gellar started his career with Quinn at 102.3 The Wave in the 1990s, leaving to pursue sales management at media companies in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. In 2002, the pair founded Quinn & Gellar. Gellar then left in 2008 to work for The Day Publishing Company, where he eventually became General Sales Manager. Six years ago, Gellar started D2 Marketing Solutions, the internal advertising agency for The Day.
Now, coming full circle, Gellar returns to the agency he co-founded.
Troy Hall, an experienced Graphic Designer, will also join the Quinn & Hary team. Hall’s creative solutions include client work on behalf of corporate human resources and recruitment, and preventative substance abuse campaigns.
As Production Manager, Hall will report to Pete Hary, Vice President of Creative Services.
