Graduates earn 424 degrees from Connecticut College

About 29.2 percent of the 424 degrees and certificates handed out by Connecticut College in 2017-18 were to students in social sciences programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in London conferred 124 bachelor's degrees in social sciences programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general economics. Data shows the school gave out 55 bachelor's degrees in general economics, followed by 33 bachelor's degrees in general psychology and 29 bachelor's degrees in general English language and literature.

The college enrolled 1,844 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
