There was a single gas station in cities across New London County selling premium gas at the lowest price of $4.25 per gallon in the week ending May 18, according to GasBuddy.com.

The average cost of premium gas in cities within New London County was $4.44 per gallon.

Of the 49 gas stations in cities within New London County, six offer premium gas.

The average price of premium gas in Connecticut was $4.51, compared to $4.53 the week before.

Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.
