On Saturday, March 22, former Waterford High School standout Melanie Martin’s current college team, the Bridgeport Purple Knights, won 10-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Georgian Court Lions.
The game took place at SEI Investments Field. This was their second matchup against the Lions this season.
The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 2:30 p.m. at Seaside Park Softball Complex against Post Eagles.
