Waterford High School standout Maddie Burrows’ college team won in NCAA Division I softball game on Saturday, Feb. 15

On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Waterford High School standout Maddie Burrows’ current college team, the Villanova Wildcats, won 10-8 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The game took place at FAU Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m. at Moyer Sports Complex against Virginia Tech Hokies.
