Town of Waterford issued the following announcement on March 19.

Dani Gorman has accepted the additional role of Interim Director  of Senior Services after the recent retirement of Lisa Cappuccio.

Dani  is a 1991 graduate of Simmons College in Boston with a Bachelor’s  Degree in psychology.  She then went on to earn her Master’s Degree in  counseling from Central Connecticut State University in 1999.  Dani has  worked with seniors, children and youth and families for over twenty  years, beginning with her career in Boston as a case worker for  bilingual families.  She is a Waterford native and lives in Preston with  her husband, Jay.  Dani also has two boys, Conor, who attends Bryant  University and J.T. who recently graduated from the University of South  Carolina. Dani will remain the Town of Waterford’s Municipal Agent for  Children and has taken on the role as Municpal Agent for the Elderly.   If you are a senior and have any questions, please reach out to Dani  directly at dgorman@waterfordct.org or call her at the Community Center 860-444-5839!
