On November 27, 2024, Rep. Courtney expressed appreciation for local food pantries’ efforts to ensure families have access to quality meals for Thanksgiving. He specifically mentioned visiting St. Vincent de Paul Place’s annual turkey drive, commending the work of Jillian Corbin and her team: “Local food pantries are working overtime to make sure families have access to quality meals and fixings for a great Thanksgiving.”
Continuing on the same day, he acknowledged improvements made at St. Vincent de Paul Place thanks to federal funding from the American Rescue Plan.
