38 percent of applicants to Connecticut College were admitted for fall 2018

At Connecticut College, 99 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 61 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in New London enrolled 1,844 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 1.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

16 percent of undergraduates are residents of Connecticut, and 76 percent are residents of other states. 8 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (69 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (8 percent).

The school admitted 38 percent of the 6,433 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 21 percent enrolled.
