Mya Johnson joins Hartford Athletic ahead of USL W League debut

Mya Johnson, a recent graduate of Connecticut College and former member of the women’s soccer team, has signed with Hartford Athletic for their inaugural season in the USL W League. The announcement was made by Hartford Athletic as they prepare for their debut campaign.

During her five years at Connecticut College, Johnson played in 66 matches and started 64 times. She finished her collegiate career ranked second in program history for both points (80) and goals (33). Johnson received recognition as a three-time All-NESCAC First Team selection and earned three USC All-Region honors. In 2023, she was also named to the NEWISA All-New England Third Team.

Hartford Athletic will begin their first season on Tuesday, May 19th, facing Vermont Green FC at Trinity Health Stadium in Hartford.
