Mason Jackson, a former standout at Norwich Free Academy and current guard for the Adelphi Panthers, is set to take part in the Division II NCAA Basketball Tournament.
The Panthers, seeded seventh, are set to face the No. 2 Felician Golden Falcons in their opening matchup.
The opening round is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at 2:30 p.m. at Charles L. & Gloria B. Lumsden Gymnasium.
Connecticut College is ranked 70th out of more than two hundred schools in this year’s Division III Learfield Directors’ Cup winter standings. The ranking is based on strong performances by several teams including men’s swimming and diving. Final standings will be announced following spring championships.
Seven Connecticut College basketball players have been named to this year’s CSC Academic All-District teams. The awards recognize excellence both on the court and in academics. Honorees now advance for consideration as Academic All-Americans.
