Later that day, he highlighted the significance of Gold Star Awareness Month. Joe Courtney was born in Hartford, Connecticut in 1953 and currently resides in Vernon. He graduated from Tufts University with a BA in 1975 and earned a JD from the University of Connecticut in 1978.
