On Thursday, March 13, former Norwich Free Academy standout Hailey Smith’s current college team, the Bridgeport Purple Knights, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Southern Connecticut Owls.
The game took place at Pelz Field. This was their first matchup against the Owls this season.
The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 13 at 4 p.m. at Pelz Field against Southern Connecticut Owls.
