Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 28.

Spring Book Sale

 The Friends of Otis Library will hold their semi-annual book sale on  April 22, 23, and 24 at Otis Library, 261 Main Street, Norwich. Please  help us promote this event by letting your community know.

Thousands of donated books will be on sale. The selection of books is  diverse, including fiction and non-fiction, mysteries, books by best  selling authors, travel, sports, short stories, large print,  biographies, US and world history, reference books, young adults, the  arts, health, general reference books, cook books and a large variety of  children books.

Great deals and pricing – hard cover and  trade books for $1, paperbacks two for $.25, CD’s and DVD’s for $.50,  vinyl records & comic books $1 and up, cookbooks, coffee table books  and craft books buy 1 get 2 free. Children’s books from $.10 to $1,  special priced books ½ price. Sunday fill a bag(s) of books for $5.00  per bag.

All books offered at the sale have been donated and all proceeds from the sale will go to support Otis Library.

 The sale will open with an early bird special from 9:00 to 10:00 am on  Friday the 22nd for which patrons will pay an entrance fee of $10.00.  Free admission for the general sale will be available from 10:00 am to  3:00 pm on Friday, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday the 23rd, and  from noon to 3:00 pm on Sunday the 24th. On Sunday, customers may fill a  bag with books and only pay $5.00. Customers may fill as many bags as  they want and only pay $5.00 per bag.
