Connecticut College announced on Mar. 20 that 143 of its student-athletes have been named to the 2026 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Winter All-Academic Team.

This marks the highest number of winter season selections for Connecticut College in the 26-year history of the award, surpassing last year’s total of 140. The college had representatives from all ten eligible sports, including a notable presence from the Women’s Indoor Track & Field team with 32 members and the Men’s Hockey Team with 21 members, which accounts for 91 percent of its eligible roster.

The list features two student-athletes—Evan Lyons ’27 and Pete Stanger ’27—who received All-NESCAC honors in their respective sports. Additionally, seven others—Avery Burns ’26, RJ Casey ’26, Kate Edison ’26, Brendan Guiliano ’27, Bridget McGann ’26, Henry Pelletier ’26 and Reid Shafer ’26—were recognized on the All-Sportsmanship Team.

To qualify for this recognition, student-athletes must have reached sophomore academic standing and maintained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale by the end of the fall semester in 2025. Transfer students are required to have completed one year of study at an institution to be eligible.

The full list of Camels named to the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team includes those who also earned distinctions as All-NESCAC or All-Sportsmanship honorees.
