ConnectiCare’s Neighborhood Assistance Act Participation Helps The Arc Eastern Connecticut

The Arc Eastern Connecticut received $4,000 this year from ConnectiCare as part of their participation in Connecticut’s Neighborhood Assistance 2022 tax credit program. ConnectiCare is one of several organizations in 2022 that helped The Arc ECT raise $18,000 to support the agency’s extensive window replacement initiative at The Arc’s Day program facility on Mechanic Street in Danielson. This facility provides supports to over 150 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. “This is such a great program,” noted The Arc’s COO Laurie Herring. “Generous organizations like ConnnectiCare can direct a portion of their state taxes to non-profits, and this makes all the difference in helping us fund vital capital improvement projects that would normally be impossible to complete.”
